The Weekend Rewind

The Collins fam had quite a crazy weekend. Khloe and I did some shopping on Saturday, where I learned that she is becoming more feisty by the minute, we had a few fits about the silliest things. For example a Halloween bid - honestly I can understand if it was a beautiful dress, some great shoes, but a bib! I was embarrassed, but after seeing another child throwing a tantrum I realized she wasn't that bad at all. I'm just far to used to her being so mellow and giggly.

Saturday night we went to the monthly car show in Pilot Mt. Kevin's Papa, has a gorgeous Ford Galaxy, and I'm not exaggerating when I say he cleans it with a baby diaper, he really does! We went out to see them and some of the other cars. I really would LOVE a '69 Mustang! Maybe if I bother Kevin enough! Ha. We had to leave the show early because Khlo was acting pretty strange, then decided to throw-up an entire sippy-cup of pediasure! It wasn't funny really, poor baby, but it was as if she aimed right for my mom getting her entire leg soaked! Sorry mom, Khloe must have known it was a new outfit.

Sunday was Kevin's Nanny's birthday so we went to church with them. We had a big get together in the evening, grilled steaks and just ate way too much. Before everyone came over, Kev, Khlo and I went in to Winston ( I make it sound like we live so far, it's like 15 min. from R.H.) and got Khloe her Halloween costume. I know it's early, but stuff goes fast and I'm not about to be that mom saying "well I wanted her to be... but they don't have it anymore." I had thought about making her something, but with being back to work, and coaching cheer I don't want to overwhelm myself. Khloe's obsessed with Little Mermaid, when she sees her, she squeals and dances around so we thought it would be fitting! But there is always a good chance that I will change my mind and she'll be something else. I have many pictures of the weekend, but when I went to get my camera out of my purse I realized it was in the car, and then realized so are my keys and Kevin was already at work. I will post them tomorrow. But until then here are a few from her cupcake themed birthday party. (Is it bad that I am already thinking of her next birthday?? )
