Khloe is13 months and really isn't wanting to eat baby food anymore. Who could blame her, throw everything you can think of in a blender and go... not quite appetizing (although my mom appears to be a fan of Gerber's banana pudding). Lately I've been tryind desperately to find things I can cook for Kevin and I that Khlo can eat as well. Mac n' Cheese works lovely, hot dogs, grilled cheese etc, but one can only stand these basic things for so long. So I've taken to my favorite recipe site AllRecipes. Now I love many things from this site; my "famous" buffalo wing soup came from this site.
Since I have had such success with this site I was hoping they would have many things for my purpose. Great thing was they had a link for "kid friendly foods." What cracks me up is I went to the beef section, Khloe has an iron-deficiency and needs a ton of iron so beef is a great option, but they have nothing but meatloaf. Honestly, is the only thing made from beef that kids will like is meatloaf?!?!? I trully find that hard to believe... I'm thinking I'm going to need to pick up some kid cook books so we can find somethings. Anyone know of great things for kiddo's just beginning to eat I would love to hear about them, especially things high in iron!
I know I've been terrible with blogging and posting pictures, I have tons I promise and will post them this week!
