Birthdays and Leotards

This past weekend Khloe had her first non-family birthday party. Millie, Khloe's friend, (Kevin's friends little girl) turned one this weekend and had a lovely (in case no one has noticed I adore using the term lovely, it reminds me of the Audrey Hepburn era which is well just lovely) party at a park in Lexington. Khloe was as always fearless! They had a bounce house set up on the pavement and my little diva made sure the big kids knew she was in charge, a majority of the time she ruled it all by herself.

I've been telling Kevin for weeks now that we need to get Khloe into some sort of tumbling class, and Salem Gymnastics has a parent/tot class, but Kevin has had many reservations with putting her in the classes. After seeing her Sunday all his questions were laid to rest and we signed her up today!

While there, she tried her best to run right out into the thick of it all, everyone was blown away with how she was already set to jump in. We even had a lady creepily excited about her small size, she wickedly commented that Khloe may always be tiny... sorry lady I'm not a stage mommy who's going to push her little girl to win gold in 13 years!

Once we had the little one signed up we realized that we were going to find it difficult to find an itty leotard, as it is for her first class (this Wednesday!!!) she'll be wearing a swimsuit, poor baby! Luckily, I have found a site that has size 12 months. I will just have to get one of each and then take them in... geez this skinny thing will one day be a blessing for her, but right now it's quite a curse. Stay tuned for pictures of her first class on Thursday!
